Challenge.

The 17th century country house estate needed full rebranding and additional ammenities in order to remain competitive and profitable.

Project.

Spa research and development project which entailed full analysis of day and destination spa markets across the world in order to define the specifications for a unique spa to be located in the heritage stables of a grand country house hotel. Worked closely with architects and selected the product and brand partner, Space NK, to develop the full spa experience concept.

Rebranded and repositioned the hotel and initiated the refurbishment process of the branded and individually-themed rooms.

Outcome.

The state-of-the-art medical spa project (à la Lanserhof) was not authorized by English Heritage within the listed stables. A modern gym and small beauty spa were added in addition to a Golf Club House on the Donald Steel designed course.

The quintessential estate 2 1/2 hours outside of London has gained its understated luxury country escape status.
